'A Curious Mind’ poster series was designed for an exhibition
held in 2016 with a brief of design for imagination.
The series pays homage to imagination, using random shapes and tones to create images. As a young boy I would often create images in my mind using only objects, shapes and colours from my surroundings. I would imagine animals, places and faces where there were none, using inanimate objects to create life through imagination.
Each poster represents this imagination in print, drawing from my youth to create graphic images from random shapes. The images are abstract in nature and thus open to individual interpretation.
